"We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Ireland, thanks to you! Our Non-Stop flight left right on time. Our car was waiting for us and the house in Doolin was perfect!
We had a great week and really want to thank you for your help in making it happen."
Sincerely,
Colleen Lucas
We often get questions about the official Star Ratings of hotels in Ireland.
It is often much easier to find the many other ratings that are voted for by hotel Guests including on sites like Tripadvisor and, indeed, on our own website from genuine Guests that have booked the hotel through us.
Today I got the official list from Fáilte Ireland and decided that it would be a good idea to share with our readers. I’ll start with the five star properties and list other classifications in the coming days:
Julian Lloyd Webber stars at Sheen Falls Lodge Classical Weekend, November 21st to 23rd.
Following the success of his performance last year, Julian Lloyd Webber returns to Sheen Falls with a new beautiful programme of classical music.
One of the world’s most popular solo cellists; Julian has premiered more than 50 unique works for cello and has inspired new composition by composers such as Malcolm Arnold, Joaquin Rodrigo, James MacMillian and Philip Glass.
At Sheen Falls, Julian will perform favourite classics by Bach, Brahms, Faure, Saint Saens and Elgar, jazz greats Cleo Laine, Stephane Grappelli and Elton John in addition to works, of course, by his brother Andrew Lloyd Webber.
The appointment has been announced that Gerry Walsh, former CEO of Board Gáis, will take over the position of Chairman of the Cork Airport Authority.
At myguideIreland we are huge fans of Cork Airport and often receive reviews from travellers highlighting the ease of transit and the quality of the experience at Cork Airport.
We welcome the appointment of Gerry Walsh and wish hime every success in steering the airport to even greater success in the coming years.
