Tried 04th September for 7 days to NYC, No Luck. Bit pointless if the Aer arann flights from Cork do not match up with the Aer lingus flight schedules. Booked Cork - NYC with BA. No problem, more convienient,than traevlling to Dublin or Shannon. cheaper, seat back entertainment on the flights, drinks and food free, amd more baggage allowance. Hi,

Yes you can fly directly to Shannon from the USA, but from fewer USA airports than Dublin. This arrangement makes it possible to check your bags through to a Munster Airport from more USA airports than was previously possible.
