Flights to Ireland at great prices

Today is the last day of Ryanair’s latest special offer for flights to Ireland.
Book by midnight tonight to avail of 75% off their fares.

There are some great value rates available.
I just did a quick survey right now on the London Stanstead to Cork Airport Route: There are flights available for travel in March (even for St. Patrick’s day) for less than

Cork Glasgow Route saved

Aer Arann have announced that they will take over the Glasgow-Prestwick – Cork route that is being axed by Ryanair.

This follows the announcement by Ryanair last week that it was cutting two routes out of Cork Airport including the Galsgow route.

Aer Arann, who also fly to Edinburgh from Cork, confirmed this morning that they will begin flying from Cork to Glasgow’s Prestwick airport from October 28. This ensures there is no break in service for travelers between the two airports and is great news for me :)  (and for other people working for companies with offices in both Cork and Glasgow.)

Never one to miss an opportunity Micheal O’Leary, chief executive officer of Ryanair, today announced that he had started discussions Boeing to order as many as 200 new airplanes to their fleet.
“I think aircraft values are going to collapse this winter,” Mr O’Leary said. “I think Boeing and Airbus order books are going to be under stress as airlines go bankrupt.”
