Plan to visit one day to check out your gorgeous vistas, eat Irish food and breath in anything else we can. My 1/4 Irishness is wishing to be there. Interested in vistas, castles, festivals, music, September/October sounds right for us. What is your recommendation regarding reservation holds? We would love to tour the all of Ireland. Thank you.

Hey, there is another huge reason to visit Ireland this year. Cork has pushed the boundaries with its Festival of the Senses. See one example of this in the Spencer Tunick photo installations in Blarney and Dublin Docklands. Unfortunately these are both now over, but there is still a two-week fest of arts, emotions and the senses to run in Cork. Enjoy your visit!

Great post guys.

I am the author of a new site called "We Rate Vacations." It is a travel site that pulls pieces and links to great travel stories on the web. We tend to gravitate towards destinations, travel tips, accommodations, food, humor, and anything that's related to travel.

This article was featured today and we'd like to continue linking to you. If there's any specific articles you wish to promote, feel free to drop us an email. While you're under no obligation to link back to us, a mention in your site would be most appreciated.

Best,

Nat, AKA Travel Guy

Hi Jimmy,

Yes, Cork Week is indeed on in Crosshaven . The event is held here every two years and its great entertainment.

Are you thinking of going?
