Newly refurbished and extended to 3 star standard, most of the 26 well appointed rooms have sea or mountain views. Enjoy the best of local seafood and Connemara lamb in their restaurant.

Perfectly situated for exploring Connemara's landscape of flora and fauna, unspoilt beaches, mountain ranges and the beautiful Western Way walking routes. Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park are a short driving distance from the hotel. Inishbofin and the Aran Islands are regularly serviced by ferry and walking and cycle trips can be arranged with bicycles provided free at the hotel. Horse riding, fishing, pitch and putt and golf are all available locally.
 

Guest Reviews of

There is a night and day difference between this hotel and the remaining hotels that were included in the package. There was nothing to do in the town except drive, eat and stay in the hotel. The horse riding they offer is forty minutes away and if one plans on riding horses they should book a month in advance. If you want to sleep at night then sleep in your car. The seats are much more comfortable than the bed they give you. I believe that the beds were at least twelve years old. The drive was fantastic!

Very small room!

This hotel was definitely middle of the road for us. The staff was pleasant and the food was decent. There wasn't much to do aside from the hotel however. The countryside was beautiful however and we made the most of our time here as well.
