Clarion Hotel Limerick

Set on the banks of the River Shannon, the Clarion Hotel Limerick is Ireland's tallest hotel and this contemporary 4 star hotel is perfect for a city break in Limerick.

A recent addition to the skyline of Limerick City, the Clarion Hotel opened in 2002. Situated on Steamboat Quay a few minutes walk from the heart of the city, the Clarion exudes chic, contemporary style, and boasts stunning views across the River Shannon and Limerick City.

The Sinergie Restaurant offers good food, beautifully presented, with a choice of a la carte and table d'hote menus boasting the finest in local ingredients served with Mediterranean flair. While the panoramic views of this glass walled space help to make a special dining experience.

Location was a bit scary at night. I liked the proximity to the highway to get back to the airport. But if I was going to explore Limerick I would have requested a different location in town.

I rated the facilities as lower as they were not prepared for our arrival which was right on time and the hours for the spa were too early a closure and too late in opening for us to use.
