The Wing
The Wing is a lovely apartment situated at the entrance to the
Livery yard. There are three fine sized bedrooms. The first bedroom enjoys an
en-suite bathroom and a very comfortable double bed. The second room
has 1 pair of adult sized bunk beds while the third bedroom has 2 pairs
of bunks. These latter two rooms share a well appointed bathroom.
There is a beautiful spacious dining and lounge area
with a galley kitchen to relax in the evening over a hot mug of tea or
maybe something stronger.
A typical day runs as follows:
10 am Arena lesson combining flatwork and jumping and this is usually taken by our
manager Sue Foley and on your first day this is also an assessment lesson.
11 am Cross country instructional ride over our 120 acre parkland cross country course.
12.30Â Break for lunch
2 pm Afternoon lesson - this can be a gentle hack or more dressage or jumping tuition.
Finishing for the afternoon at around 3.30 pm.
This leaves you time to go and see some of the sights around the area - it is possible to get to the cliffs o Moher and Killarney from Adare once you have finished riding for the day.Â
There are two very good grocery stores in the village of Adare as well as numerous pubs and restaurants with traditional music at least one night a week.
 6 people in shared rooms accommodation from Saturday to Saturday and riding from Sunday to Friday costs € 760.00 per person sharing.
