An wonderful day tour to the glorious West of Ireland where John Ford filmed "The Quiet Man". We arrive through Galway, see Kylemore Abbey and explore Connemara which means "inlets of the sea".

Tour Details
Check in Dublin Heuston Station for 7.10am departure of Intercity train (light breakfast available) to Galway. On arrival in Galway we transfer to our waiting coach and strike out into the magnificent landscape of this region known as Connemara. We experience the lovely village of Leenane at the head of Killary Harbour Ireland's only fjord. Our lunch stop is at the world famous Kylemore Abbey* Visitor Centre. See the Twelve Bens mountain range. Enough time for shopping and taking photos en route. We continue on along the shores of Galway Bay and arrive in Galway for our return Intercity train to Dublin Heuston station arriving at 9.00pm. (Light meals and full bar are available in the train)
