My boyfriend and I just arrived home yesterday from our Irish Classic Tour vacation, and it was amazing! Our bus driver and tour guide were extrememly professional and organized, and most importantly -- very friendly! Everything was just like we imagined, many times even better! Ireland is full of friendly people and beautiful counties, and we'd love to go back someday. myguideIreland, and Sinead Keohane, thanks for all your help!

Just got back and your country is very beautiful. We did have to stop in Shannon for a two hour layover on the way back. But it gave us time to get out, smoke a cigarette, and go through immigration before we hit the states. The tour guide for CIE was absolutely wonderful, and the group I was riding with turned into one big family. So much so, that we have all traded email addresses and are planning a reunion in Ireland in five years or so. It was the trip of a lifetime. Thank you for making it go so smoothly!

As a many time traveler to the beautiful country of Ireland (after all, my maiden name was Fallon), I felt compelled to send you kudos on your wonderful web site. I saw it advertised in "Irish America" magazine and immediately found my way to it . . . I was just perusing the escorted tours portion of your site and after taking many guided tours to Europe (Britian last year and Ireland in 1998...), I find your itinerary fantastic and the prices reasonable. Thanks so much for giving us travelers such a user friendly, enjoyable page from which to plan our trips.

"Vivienne, We traveled to Ireland with your assistance in planning the trip. I raised a question about the Hertz rental car with you about two weeks ago. You made some inquiries and were able to get Hertz to make an adjustment in the charges. That adjustment was made. Thanks very much for your assistance. You have been great! If you ever need a referral or a good word about myguideIreland, you can use my name. Thanks again and good luck with the business."

"We did indeed have a wonderful time. The house that you found for us in Brandon was everything that we hoped it would be. I feel very pleased with myself for have found myguideIreland!! And, I have passed your name on to several of my friends. Just so you know, and completely out of your hands (I think) is that U S Air ended up with mechanical problems which cancelled our first outbound flight from Orlando to Boston. As a result, we were ticketed to Charlotte then to Paris then to Shannon. In Charlotte we were able to re-schedule yet again to make it London then Shannon. Of course, our luggage did not keep up with these changes and it did not get delivered until Tuesday evening. Do you have any "pull" with US Air? We have an address and need to write them a letter for reimbursement. At the least, I will send you a copy of that letter as well. But, please do let me know if there is anything else you can do or suggest. Again, we couldn't have been more pleased and we will definitely plan to call you again."

"Hi Nuala, Sorry it too so long to get back to you. Came back to a busy schedule at work and not much time to myself. I really enjoyed the trip you planned for me. Your trip planning let me see all I wanted to in Ireland. It was great to go into the different Counties and see the differences in some of the different clans as it were. Got the shock of my life while in the Siligo area. The name McCormack was plastered everywhere as well as the McCarrick name. An uncle by marriage. Quite a shock. Had never heard where my father's family was from. Must have been in those parts. You were ever so right about stopping in London. Not just for the rest after the flight. I fell in love with London, its architecture and history. God we are just babes in arms over here. Quite a different perspective I have now. Sorry I did not take another week to stay in London longer. The Irish countryside was marvelous. I ate an hot Irish meal at lunchtime in a different pub alone the way. Had a chance to meet the local people and loved it. On my next trip, I would probably tone it down a bit in my accomodations. Most of them were wonderful, but remote from the Irish people. Might like to try the B&B circuit the next time. The only disappointment in lodging was Cahernane House Hotel. When I got there it was really closed for the season and a remodel. None of the amenities such as the bar or restaurant were in operation. When I returned a little late from Killarney, I had to ring the bell to be let in by the Security Guard on duty. I would check out what is happening with that place before I would book anyone back there. All the rest were first rate and beautiful places. I think I also tried to do too much on a first visit. My enthusiasm got the best of me. Was kinda tired from all the driving. Had no problems though. Was really proud of myself. Oh and then the Aer Lingus strike. Well not your problem, ha ha. Got caught in it to Dublin. Just a 4 hour delay at Gatwick. That is about it. Ireland was all I had hoped it would be. There was a general lack of planning on my part to depart to some other locations off the route I had set out for myself. Think I was a little nervous about getting off the beaten path too much. No nervousness the next time. Well Nuala, if there is anything else you would like to know, just drop me a line. I really appreciated your effort. It made my trip a wonderful experience. I would certainly give you a call if I plan to visit Ireland again. I feel like I made a friend. Best wishes for a happy holiday season. Joe"

"Nuala, We did enjoy our trip very much. The Ashford Castle and the Waterford Castle were both exceptional. The Waterford Castle charged Bryan for Breakfast; wasn't that included? The Dromoland Castle was nice, but did not have the same atmosphere and style as the other two. The Shelbourne was nice the last evening, but very unpleasant the first evening. The room was unbarably hot and there was no way to cool it down other than to open the window. Given the rain, this was not a great option. Thank you for all your help. Happy Christmas to you and all the best for 2001."
