City of Derry Airport

City of Derry Airport (Airport code: LDY) is located 7 miles north-east of Derry City on the main A2 linking the North West of Ireland with Dublin Airport and several UK destinations.

The airport underwent a £19million runway upgrade in 2008, enabling the announcemnt of its first continental route by Ryanair commencing in June 2009 to Alicante in Spain.
