A sheltered shore located on a small coastal inlet on Achill Island, Dooega Beach's northern part consists of a low lying flat coastal grassland of machair which is backed by Keel. There is an access ramp for the disabled but no disabled toilets. The beach is not life guarded, but there is Life saving equipment on the beach, phone and first aid bos available at Mangan's Irish College overlooking the beach.
"Sorry this is so late but I just wanted to say Thank you so much for planning such a wonderful trip! We enjoyed every aspect of it. I just wanted to let you know that the tax on the Bed & Breakfast's was a Dublin tax." -- Audrey
