Golden Strand Beach, located on Achill Island in Co. Mayo
Exposed shore with a sandy substrate, the upper limit of the shore consists of large pebbles. The presence of gently sloping sand dunes along the headlands have been colonised by many different plants. No toilets or access for disabled. The beach is located approx. 3km east of Doogort village.
