Itinerary:
Day
1 – Departure
Your adventure begins as you board your flight to Ireland arriving in Dublin. Your
overnight Atlantic flight includes dinner and breakfast.
Day 2 - Dublin Arrival
Dublin - welcomed at airport by our coach driver. Ed & Joan Hogan will host a welcome tea/coffee at our Dublin Hotel. Enjoy a late morning bus tour of Dublin followed by a free afternoon to explore the scenic Dublin City Centre.
Evening dinner at our Dublin hotel.
Day 3 -Glasnevin Cemetery, the Book of Kells, and Dublin - We begin our day with a full Irish breakfast at our hotel. Then we depart on a morning tour of historic Glasnevin Cemetery. In the early afternoon we visit the Book of Kells at Trinity College, with the rest of the day free. Evening dinner with traditional Irish music at the Irish House Party.
Overnight in Dublin.
Day 4 - travel north to the Hill of Tara. From there it is on to Monasterboice, site of some of Ireland’s finest high crosses. Our destination is Armagh.
Dinner at our Armagh hotel.
Day 5 Armagh,
Downpatrick, and Belfast
We begin our day in Armagh the ecclesiastical center of Ireland. Sunday church service is available at the two national cathedrals in Armagh. We will tour the Trian Visitor Centre then continue north to Downpatrick and St. Patrick’s gravesite. From there we journey on to our dinner and overnight at our hotel in Belfast. Evening program featuring a local historian on the Troubles.
Day 6 - Belfast
and Ballycastle
We enjoy Northern Ireland’s largest city, with visit to the Ulster Museum, and a tour of the city. Drive north to our hotel in Ballycastle. Dinner at our hotel.
Day 7
The Giants Causeway and Ballycastle
We journey north
today to the spectacular Giant’s
Causeway and noon at Bushmills Distillery. Afternoon is
free to enjoy this delightful seaside town. Dinner independent.

Day 8 Derry and Donegal
Put on your walking shoes. We drive to Derry and enjoy a walking tour of Derry City, the only complete walled city in Ireland or the UK.
On south to Donegal. Hotel in Donegal or Ballyshannon. Dinner at our hotel.
Day 9
Belleek and south to Strokestown
Drive along the scenic Donegal coast to the Belleek Pottery Factory. After touring the Belleek factory, we drive on south to hotel near the Strokestown Park and Famine Museum. Dinner at our hotel.
Day 10 Strokestown and
Athlone
We will visit Strokestown Park House and the Famine Museum Strokestown is an 18th Century mansion faithfully preserved. The grounds also include a 4 acre walled garden and the noted Famine Museum. Then its on to Galway for overnight and independent dinner.
Enjoy traditional music in one of Galway’s many pubs.
Day 11
Bunratty and Shannon Airport
Leaving Galway, our tour heads south through the Buren to the Cliffs of Moher before continuing to hotel located in Limerick. This evening, our farewell dinner is at the Bunratty Castle. An evening of music and fine dining.
Day 12 Return
Home
Slán abhaile. Our coach will make a morning trip to the Shannon Airport to assist you in your journey home.
