At the Killarney National Park there are some beautiful gardens, lakes and mountains, scenic drives around the Killarney Lakes and wonderful boat trips on the lakes.

The houses provide 4 bedroomed accommodation for up to 7 persons with 2 double ensuite rooms, 1 twin ensuite room and 1 single room and a family bathroom with a jacuzzi type bath. The modern kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, dryer, multichannel colour TV and Video. There is also a separate living room.

Guests can avail of the facilities at the Castlerosse Hotel Leisure centre which is about half a mile away from the village which has a 20 meter swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, gym and golf course which are available at an extra charge.
The Killarney Riding Stables are also on site and there is a reduced rate for guests also.

There is a wide variety of outdoor activities available such as fishing in the Killarney Lakes, Waterville Lake and River Laune, horse riding through Killarney National Park and golfing at any one of the many brilliant courses including Killarney Golf & Fishing Club, Castleross Golf Club and Earls Court House Golf Club.  Enjoy cycling and walking on well marked walks and trails through the National Park and around the lakes and in the surrounding mountains. Numerous bus tours take visitors around the Ring of Kerry drive while jaunting cars offer a little old world charm. There are a number of heritage sites. The best known of these are Kate Kearney’s Cottage, Muckross House & Gardens , Muckross Abbey, Ross Castle and Derrynane House.
