Experience the scenic Ring of Kerry, Muckross Gardens, Cobh Heritage Centre, Historic Walking Tour of Waterford, Waterford Crystal Factory, Visit the Blarney Woolen Mills, Medieval Kilkenny, National Stud Farm and the Japanese Gardens.

 

Day 1: Arrive Shannon & Bunratty Medieval Banquet

Upon your arrival at Shannon Airport a group transfer to you hotel between 7:00am and 12:00 is available. If you arrive after this time you must arrange your own transfer.

At 2:00pm you are invited to take a drive to the coast to view the Cliffs of Moher before returning to your hotel. Next you will have time to take a stroll through Bunratty village or visit durty Nellys pub.

Later that evening, join your fellow Travellers for a welcome drink before heading to Bunratty Folk Park for a medieval-style banquet. (D)

Day 2: Flying Boat Museum & Dingle Peninsula

On the second day of the door, you will drive through the outskirts of Limerick and alongside the River Shannon to visit Foynes Flying Boat Museum.

Your journey will continue into County Kerry and along the Dingle Peninsula where you will find glorious scenic views. Stop in the town of Dingle before going up the Connor Pass for more stunning views. Then head to your hotel in the centre of Killarney. (B, D)

Day 3: Jaunting Car Ride & Moll’s Gap

On day 3 you can enjoy a  traditional horse-drawn jaunting car ride to Ross Castle where you will withness stunning views of Lough Leane, Killarney’s largest lake. Later, drive to the delightful town of Kenmare where gaily-painted buildings are enhanced with flowers. Enjoy mountain views at Moll’s Gap and continue along part of the Ring of Kerry where a stop at Ladies’ View is on the agenda.

In the evening return to Killarney in time to allow some leisure time before dinner. (B, D)

Day 4: Cobh Heritage & Traditional Music Session

Today you will travel through the mountains of Kerry and make a brief stop at the Blarney Woollen Mills. Following this you will visit Cobh Heritage Centre, which is located in the old train station - it is here all emigrants passed before travelling to the new worlds.

Once the tour in Cobh is complete you will embark on a drive to Dungarvan where you will find the Marine Bar for a creamy Irish coffee and an informal traditional music session.

The tour will make it's way to Waterford, where you can check in to your hotel and join a local guide for a stroll around the historic city centre. (B, D)

Day 5: Medieval Kilkenny & National Stud

On day 5 you will visit the Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre. Next you will stop in Kilkenny for a look around the prosperous medieval trading city where narrow streets still follow ancient routes. Visit the Irish National Stud before walking through the Japanese Gardens.

Later in the day you will head to Dun Laoghaire on the outskirts of Dublin. Check in to Royal Marine Hotel and enjoy a typical Irish Pub dinner followed by an evening of song and dance. (B, D)

Day 6: Dublin stay

You will spend the day exploring the many sights and sounds of Dublin with an open top bus tour pass with a visit to either the Guinness Storehouse or the  Old Jameson Distillery. The tour route has over 23 stops. (B)

Day 7: Homeward bound

Transfers to Dublin Airport are provided on the final day(B)
