Strolls along this magical landscape offer distant views of the world famous Aran Islands, Clare Hills and Cliffs of Moher, whilst within one hour's drive from Clifden.

The cottages are located on the Gaeltacht Island off Leitir Moir, which is joined to the Connemara mainland by bridge. Leitir Móir boasts the contrasting landscape of rugged coastline, sandy beaches and clear crystal waters, where the Irish language thrives and the traditions and culture of the Gaeltacht are very much alive today. Leitir Moir is an ideal base for a relaxing or activity based holiday in the West of Ireland with many attractions within easy reach.

Each of the thirteen traditional-style cottages are fully equipped to cater for six persons, with three bedrooms (two twin bedded rooms downstairs and one large double bedroom upstairs), large sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and ample storage space. All bedrooms have ample storage space and W.H.B. All bed linen is supplied; cots and highchairs are available upon request. All cottages boast modern conveniences including electric heaters, storage heating, washing machine, dryer, electric cooker, microwave oven and also an open-hearth fireplace.

The islands lie off the main tourist trail and therefore are still unspoiled and relatively unexplored. Amongst their many attractions are wonderful beaches, scenic walks, peace and tranquillity and regardless of where you turn you are never far from the sea.
