 Lahinch Beach, located in Clare
This beach faces the open Atlantic Ocean and is a large crescent-shaped sandy beach close to Liscannor. Lahinch Beach is close to the Burren with its unique limestone landscape. To reach the beach from Ennistymon take the N67 for 3km and the beach is 1/2 km from Lahinch town. The beach is life guarded at the weekends in June and daily in July and August and is very popular with surfers.
