 Macroom Golf Club is a splendid parkland course based on banks of the River Sullane , within the castle grounds. The Sullane comes into play on four of the holes, and has claimed number of good scores. This is especially true on the 12th hole, where testing shot is needed to carry you over 50 yards of the river and on to the green.
