Old Head Beach

Sheltered beach with sandy substrate, Old Head, sheltered by cliffs and woodland. The beach is located 16km west of Westport. Croagh Patrick is within close proximity, which is a natural feature of great interest. Access ramps to the beach are available together with disabled toilets for visitors.

Lifeguard duty times are displayed on the information board, times vary according to the month. Renting facilities and guesthouse accommodation are located within close proximity to the beach.
