Sheltered beach with sandy substrate, Old Head, sheltered by cliffs and woodland. The beach is located 16km west of Westport. Croagh Patrick is within close proximity, which is a natural feature of great interest. Access ramps to the beach are available together with disabled toilets for visitors.
