Pembroke Townhouse

Pembroke Townhouse is a classic example of 18th Century Georgian splendour, located in the heart of Dublin's exclusive district of Ballsbridge.

Pembroke is an impeccably restored Georgian Townhouse, where the elegance of a bygone era is merged with contemporary luxury in an intimate guest house with an abundance of charm and character. It is set in the fashionable area of Ballsbridge, home to many prestigious buildings from the Royal Dublin Society (RDS), Lansdowne Road and a number of Embassies, and is around 2 miles from the centre of Dublin.

Pembroke Townhouse has a collection of sumptuous bedrooms, individually designed to the highest standards, mixing the elegance of old with the modern conveniences expected by today's traveller.

Gourmet and traditional breakfast is served each morning in the grand dining room, though Pembroke Townhouse doesn't serve meals in the evening. Pembroke's facilities include access to an indoor heated pool and gym at the nearby Pavilion and Pembroke has its own secure car park.

Pembroke Townhouse is intimate, friendly and understated and is ideal for exploring Dublin and retreating to the relative calm and refined surroundings of Ballsbridge. The centre of Dublin; Grafton Street, Temple Bar and Trinity College are all just 15 minutes walk away and Dublin Airport is just eight miles to the north of the city.

Guest Reviews of Pembroke Townhouse

Good location.

Only observation is that the name should be highlighted better on the outside

The staff at my guide Ireland were brilliant. Very helpful and polite at all times would certainly use my guide Ireland again and recomnend the company. We really enjoyed our trip and loved Ireland! Thank you.

Our next accomodation in Dublin could also be Pembroke Town House, although the distance to the city centre was good training after breakfast for the whole familiy.

We were thoroughly satisfied with PTH. The room was small with a duplex too tiny to be of use in the absence of a third occupant. Everything else was excellent to outstanding. The staff and maid service were both topnotch. The breakfast was exceptional and the best we encountered on our trip. The service for breakfast was the same as for the clerical service.

This hotel had tiny rooms with extremely low ceilings. There was no one to help bring the luggage from the car and in general I and my friends were very dissatisfied with this hotel. It is very expensive and we would not consider staying there again.

We loved the short walk into Dublin, proper. Past St. Steven's Green, Trinity College, Graften Street.......

Es fehlt die Möglichkeit, im Speiseraum Snacks und Getränke einzunehmen. Außerdem unzureichendes Getränkeangebot.

This was much too far from central Dublin. It is located a good walk south of the southern part of the Grand Canal and by the time we walked into central Dublin we were too tired to explore. The hardest thing was to wall all the way back after a full day of sightseeing. Even the Hop on Hop off sightseeing bus stopped well to the north of this hotel. Also, the staff was not very friendly and seemed to feel we were bothering them. I would not recommend Pembroke Townhouse.

We had a hard time finding it but we were new to Dublin and a little jetlagged. The staff was nice.

This hotel is lot far away from the city center of Dublin and it has beautiful rooms.

Located in a very quite and safe area. Very nice furnitures.

This was way too far from city center for our taste. We had to take a taxi after a long day touring the city. Would have liked to be closer to Trinity College area.
