Perryville House

Located in Ireland's culinary capital of Kinsale in West Cork, Perryville House combines elegance and romance with old-fashioned country house charm.

Kinsale is a town with a prominent place in Ireland's history, with the famous Battle of Kinsale in 1601 and more recently this attractive little town has become synonymous with the nation's palates, with numerous restaurants serving up some of the best seafood in the country.

Kinsale's picturesque harbour and narrow winding streets present the perfect setting for Perryville House, a Victorian house with its attractive exterior set with a balcony facade of wrought iron, which sits overlooking the marina. Inside Perryville House boasts wonderful interiors decked out with old Irish charm and elegance. The drawing room and lounge are furnished with exquisite Irish antiquities, slowly burning turf fires and the colour and scent of fresh flowers.

Each of the bedrooms at Perryville House has been individually decorated to the highest standards, blending wonderful luxury, tradition and imagination. These spacious rooms are filled with graceful antique furniture, large lavish beds and luxurious bathrooms. These are rooms you'll be happy to wake up in, but might not wish to leave too soon.

In the morning, Perryville House serves a delicious buffet breakfast of fresh fruits and cereals, locally produced farmhouse cheeses and a selection of home baked breads and preserves together with free range eggs from a local farm. Though the guesthouse doesn't serve an evening meal, the discerning management can reserve lunch or dinner at one of the many gourmet restaurants to be found in Kinsale.

For golfers, Perryville House is perfectly placed just a 10-minute drive from the famous Old Head Golf Links at the Old Head of Kinsale.

NOTE: Perryville is a non-smoking hotel.

Guest Reviews of Perryville House

After the Park Hotel and Ballyseede it was hard to compare a Guest House

Jamie Sapp on Mon Jul 27 2009

very expensive and no bar facilities, it would have been nice to sit in the lounge area but nobody informed us this facility was available to us, very un informative. Food was good but beverage service - lack of information

Mary Harte on Thu Sep 18 2008

Car parking was a problem - again we were lucky. Extra charge for cooked breakfast. Exceptional bathroom.
