The East Strand is one of the Causeway Coast's most beautiful beaches with its large sand dunes forming the backdrop of the Royal Portrush Golf Course. The sandy beach with adjoining promenade is sheltered well from the wind and provides some excellent costal views. The beach is popular with surfers and all amenities, including an amusement arcade, are nearby.
