This parkland course opened July 1998 in a simply gorgeous Ring of Kerry setting overlooking Kenmare Bay and the Caha Mountains. The scenery helps but it's the layout, stiff challenge and excellent greens that make Ring of Kerry Golf Club one of the finest new golf courses in Ireland . The greens are highly contoured and landing areas tend to be tight.
The Ring Of Kerry course is that little bit special and like Adare and Killarney , is the perfect complement to some of the region's rugged links courses. This is a gorgeous course, especially when the Irish mist creeps in. It is also an endurance test for the walking golfer.
