Rosses Point is located 8km from Sligo town via the R291. The beach has a 2km stretch of fine sands and is backed by sand dunes. From the beach there are beautiful views of Knocknarea to the south and Benbulben to the north. The beach is life guarded from June to August, Monday to Sunday from 11am to 7pm.

I went to Ashford Castle as well, it was very very nice to, but my preference is still Adare Manor. I just wish that I had booked 2 nights there instead of just one. The B&Bs were TOP too!
