Castle Estate would be complete without the fine dining experience offered at
the award-winning Sandstone Restaurant. With research and tasting of local
produce, head chef Jean Michel Chevet has created a unique selection of menus
which use local suppliers in Co. Leitrim and surrounding areas. Fine wines
selected from France, Italy, and Spain complement the chef's delectable
starters and main courses.
Nestled within the heart of the castle, the
Sandstone incorporates old-world elegance and Victorian grace with a state of
the art kitchen facility and charming decor. Crisp linen tablecloths and
napkins, fine porcelain dinnerware, exquisite crystal stemware, and softly
glowing candles create a perfect ambiance, elegant yet comfortably casual.
Three-course dinners, including appetizing
starters (creamed cauliflower or red pepper and tomato soup), delicious main
meals (like Braised Beef Bourguignon or Seafood Linguini Pasta), and delectably
dazzling desserts (like Glazed Lemon Tart with raspberry sorbet or Warm Sticky
Toffee Pudding with vanilla ice cream) make this dining experience
unforgettable.
Also available is a bar menu with grilled
sandwiches, fresh salads, hearty soups,
or warm scones.

Open daily from 12:00-2:30 for lunch,
7:30-9:00 for dinner. Special menus available for group bookings, special
occasions, and corporate celebrations.
