Dating back in the 1400’s, this 4 storey tower castle is rich in history and tradition.  The castle was originally built in 1474 and reconstructed in the 1860’s; however, it was later destroyed by fire in 1939.  The original castle has been transformed to what is now called the Solis Lough Eske Castle.  To this day, a stone engraved with the year 1621 still remains on the property as a memory of the castle’s history.
