Day 1: After arriving at Shannon Airport and picking up your
car, you can discover county Clare and visit it's top attractions which include
The Cliffs of Moher which are among the highest sea cliffs in Europe, and The
Burren whose environment is so unique that many tropical plants thrive there.
You may also visit Limerick, Ireland's third largest city. You stay in what many
call Ireland's prettiest village, Adare.
Day 2: Killarney awaits you
today, with it's world renowned lakes at the National Park.
The Ring of Kerry is a stunning drive around some of the most scenic mountains
and coastlines. Bring your camera!
Day 3: Leave Killarney and travel
to Bantry. A journey a little off the main highway via the Healy Pass over the
Beara mountains is unforgettable. Visit Garinish Island or
explore the Beara, Sheeps Head or Mizen Penninsulas,
places that are not as crowded as the Ring of Kerry but are every bit as
beautiful. From your base in Bantry you can discover West Cork, which is one of
the most popular places with the Irish themselves, and the home of myguidetravel!
Day 4: Onwards to Ballycotton in East
Cork, you can visit the Blarney Stone on your way. Other places of interest
include Cork City, Kinsale, Fota Island Wildlife Park near the City.
From
your base in Ballycotton you are only an hour from Waterford if you are
intersted in visiting the Waterford Crystal workshop for a tour and some
shopping.
Day 5 & 6: You have two days to see the attractions of
Dublin. See Dublin Castle, The Guinness Brewery, Trinity College, Government Buildings etc.. A
visit to Ccounty Wicklow , The garden of Ireland is a must. The prehistoric
monastic settlement at Glendalough is one of the country's most popular
attractions.
Day 7: Depart for home from Dublin airport.
