Why did you join myguideIreland?
I joined myguideIreland because it is a dynamic, multicultural Company offering great opportunities.
What is your favourite part of Ireland?
One would
be the Antrim Coastline in Northern Ireland. Spectacular and dramatic
scenery. Other areas would be the beauty of West
Cork which is also pretty amazing but I have to confess
I still love Dublin City as a favourite part of Ireland. I love the buildings of Dublin and especially Georgian
Dublin.
What is your favourite visitor attraction?
Favourite Visitor Attraction has to be the Casino in Marino in Dublin. Not a lot of people know about this little Gem.
What is your favourite Irish food restaurant in Ireland?
Maryannes
in Castletownshend is great. We sometimes go to lunch there and for various occasions
with work colleagues. For a Special Occasion Rolys in Ballsbridge, Dublin is
just lovely.
Favourite getaway in Ireland?
Hard to decide. Anywhere close to the Sea.
Given your experience what advice would you give to people coming to Ireland?
Plan well for the trip if you are a group and
gather as much information before you decide on where you are going to
go. Also, give yourself enough time and try not to cram everything into
one week if that is all the time you have. Having a coach and Driver
is an excellent way to see the country and takes the worry out of
driving for a group. You also learn a lot from the Driver and get to
see places which you might not see if you are driving. For groups
considering coming to Ireland you should also consider the
Northern Parts of Ireland as well as the Southern Parts. There are so
many excellent spots from Dublin up to Belfast ranging from Armagh,
Downpatrick, Bushmills, Giants Causeway which are all set among some
spectacular scenery. The historical and religious aspects attached to
these areas is fascinating and a trip to these parts makes for a very
enjoyable tour.
