After great experiences working in the tourism industry and achieving a diploma in that field, I decided to join the team at myguideIreland in 2006 to help our Guests discover what makes Ireland such a unique country: beautiful landscapes, friendly people, Celtic culture, and many other things...
What is your favorite part of Ireland?
West Cork region and especially its peninsulas: Beara, Sheep's Head and Mizen Head. It feels like you are reaching the end of the world after driving along such narrow coastal roads.
What is your favorite visitor attraction?
The Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland. It's difficult to believe that it's a natural phenomenon.
Which is your favorite pub in Ireland?
There are so many pubs in Ireland. I could find my favorite in many places but if I have to choose I would say those in the city center of Galway.
Where do you like to shop?
The pedestrian city centre of Galway.
Given your experience what advice would you give to people coming to Ireland?
"Open your eyes". You will be surprised by the wide diversity of the landscapes. It's the ideal place for nature lovers.
