Fares are usually half the price of the equivalent train fare and same day return tickets cheaper still. Under 16's pay half and there is also a range of Travel Passes allowing you to use Bus Eireann services for various periods of time. Bus Eireann have an extensive timetable serving the vast majority of towns in Ireland.
