Winter Vacations 2011
For those wanting to get away this winter and take a break away from the typical winterourist trail of snow or sunny beaches, a vacation to Ireland this winter could be just the thing.
While many Irish tourist attractions are largely closed, not all are, and although cold, Ireland’s temperate climate means there’s rarely extremes of weather to hinder a journey, so one can take advantage of this and head off the beaten track on your journey taking in the sights of the countryside in your own sweet time away from the hustle and bustle, typical of the summertime.
Being officially the low season, accommodation and eating out is at an all season low so there are bargains to be made when staying in hotels and dining out.
Finally with the festive season in full swing, winter is the ideal time to visit family and friends with the cities and towns, in the weeks leading up to Christmas, alive with festivities, a winter vacation gives one a chance to enjoy the culture and stirring nightlife to be had in the cities, in particular the capital Dublin.

"It has been a pleasure working with you and your company. I really appreciate your professionalism, tourism expertise, and your patience and willingness in helping me enjoy a great vacation. Rest assured, when I visit Ireland again (and I will), you will be the first person I call. I will also refer you to people I know who may travel the same path." -- Mak |
