Woodstock Golf Club is one of the finest parkland courses in the Midwest region. Situated on 155 acres of beautiful landscape located beneath the Slieve Bernagh Mountains and just off the well-beaten tourist trail between Limerick and Galway , the course was built on free-draining soil, which allows the course to be played throughout the year.
The secret to this course is the manner in which the architect Dr. Arthur Spring has managed to use the river, natural lake and contours in the manner in which he did. The course is renowned for the consistently high quality of its putting surfaces. Highlights include the 7th and 8th holes which run by the lake, proving a test for any golfer. The course offers a challenging but fair test for golfers of all levels.

The 7th hole is a real gem, a long par 4 that wraps around a lake, over the swans heads and onto a challenging green. Guest Comment.

"It has been a pleasure working with you and your company. I really appreciate your professionalism, tourism expertise, and your patience and willingness in helping me enjoy a great vacation. Rest assured, when I visit Ireland again (and I will), you will be the first person I call. I will also refer you to people I know who may travel the same path." -- Mak |
