Golf
Portmarnock golf links course was designed by Bernhard Langer, and the club professional is European Ryder Cup player, Darren Clarke. Inspirational use of natural dunes land features, and the creative use of elevated tees and greens, acutely angled dog-legs, and ninety-eight strategically placed bunkers even test the most accomplished of players. Each individual hole presents its own unique and exacting challenge, which, as the round progresses, provokes and increasing sense of anticipation to discover the delights of the next.

"There are very few locations in Europe which could have allowed me the opportunity and landscape to design such a classic championship links. I hope all those who play it discover its magic and its challenging beauty". Bernhard Langer

Testimonials

"I just wanted to let you know our Ireland trip was fabulous!!
Thank you so much!
Your recommendation to Adare Manor was a top tip!
I went to Ashford Castle as well, it was very very nice to, but my preference is still Adare Manor.
I just wish that I had booked 2 nights there instead of just one.
The B&Bs were TOP too! Especially the one in Kilkieren up in Galway. Barbara was lovely and couldn't have done more to make our stay memorable.
The Hillside House is definately one you can recommend to anyone!" -- Silke
