The Bernhard Langer designed course is laid out on a classic link's landscape which once formed part of the Old Jameson Estate. There is little doubt that the course offers all that a golfer could wish for and possesses each characteristic required for the gratification of the links purist. The first 7 holes were built on agricultural land and are rather flat and open, but the remaining holes offer a true links experience with high dunes. Wind is always a factor, and intelligent bunkering makes this a very challenging course to play.
