Ashlee Lodge

The Ashlee Lodge is an award winning boutique hotel offering the comfort and luxury you would find in a top hotel, located a short drive from Blarney Castle and well placed for access to some of the south west region's best golfing.

Winner of among others, the Little Gem award, the Ashlee Lodge is a small luxury hotel set with elegant and stylish interiors with very high standards of furnishings and immaculate attention to detail, while owners Anne and John O'Leary provide the warmth of traditional Irish hospitality.

The relaxing drawing room offers the perfect place to unwind, perhaps with a drink from the extensively stocked "Honour Bar" and enjoy polite conversation after a day's touring or playing golf. The light and airy conservatory dining room offers an invigorating setting with views out to the gardens, while you enjoy a hearty Irish breakfast or light evening meal.

The accommodation at Ashlee Lodge has rightly won national awards, boasting some of the finest bedrooms in Ireland. Hugely spacious and delightfully decorated, the bedrooms are furnished to the very highest standards offering homely comforts as well as extravagant luxuries including whirlpool baths in some, leather sofas and lavish king sized beds adorned with plump cushions and the finest fabrics.

The Ashlee Lodge also boasts a sauna and a fabulous roof top garden complete with outdoor Canadian Hot Tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day out on the green.

Located just outside Blarney in County Cork, Ashlee lodge is well placed for visiting one of Ireland's most famous sights, the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle as well as the attractions of Cork City and the fabulous scenery along the Cork coast. The hotel is also perfectly placed for golfing at some of Ireland's most prominent courses such as Fota Island Golf Course, Old Head of Kinsale, Killarney Golf and Fishing Club and Ballybunio Golf Club.

Guest Reviews of

The proprietors were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was very comfortable but it was strange to finish the trip in such a modern building after all the lovely old country houses we had stayed in.

the breakfast was just alright, not great.

Testimonials

"I just wanted to let you know our Ireland trip was fabulous!!
Thank you so much!
Your recommendation to Adare Manor was a top tip!
I went to Ashford Castle as well, it was very very nice to, but my preference is still Adare Manor.
I just wish that I had booked 2 nights there instead of just one.
The B&Bs were TOP too! Especially the one in Kilkieren up in Galway. Barbara was lovely and couldn't have done more to make our stay memorable.
The Hillside House is definately one you can recommend to anyone!" -- Silke
